For several years, Fiberline has maintained a position as the wind industry’s preferred development partner. Solutions involving both blade root solutions and profiles for the production of spar caps have become increasingly important within the Danish family business' portfolio. Now Fiberline has concluded the company’s biggest contract yet for the supply of carbon fibre profiles. The customer is the Nordex Group, which, with more than 7,500 employees and a 35-year history in the wind industry, is a truly global player.
Fiberline’s Vice President, Wind Division, Jens Guldborg says: "We are proud to introduce our carbon fibre technology to another global OEM, and we are pleased that a well-established business partner such as Nordex has chosen Fiberline to supply this critical component". He continues: "Our business model is based on deep knowledge of the material, combined with an equally deep understanding of our customers' needs. This has once again proven to be a sustainable combination."
The contract with the Nordex Group covers the supply of carbon fibre profiles for the company's blades, which are installed on Nordex’ Delta4000 turbine model.
