The Danfoss Power Electronics division includes three business units: Danfoss VLT Drives, Danfoss Customised Power Electronics and Danfoss Inverters for Solar and Wind. The division has supply chain, research and development centers in China, Denmark, United States and Germany and a global network of sales offices offering customers high qualiy energy-efficient power electronics solutions.

Danfoss Inverters for Solar and Wind

The business unit focuses on the solar and wind segment. The product range includes solar inverters for both residential and commercial solar cell applications to achieve optimum energy output and return on investment. Components for the wind-energy segment include customised power stacks which are based on industry leading technologies.

Danfoss Customised Power Electronics

Danfoss Customised Power Electronics offers customised power electronic solutions, including power modules to a wide range of industries. The customised solutions are developed in close cooperation with customers to suit their specific needs as to optimizing their processes and save energy. Customers range from the automotive industry to the customers who need power electronics controls of motors pumps, compressors and air-handling units.

Danfoss VLT Drives

Danfoss VLT Drives offers frequency converters for the electronic control of motors, which helps customers save energy costs and optimize their processes. Danfoss VLT Drives is a global business with sales and service activities throughout the world and with more than 40 years of experience within the VLT frequency converter business. Customers can benefit from Danfoss having a leading global position in the HVAC, water, food and beverage segments and also on selected markets within a wide range of other industries like chemical, textile, material handling and mining.
