The Energy Transition Stream will specifically address various aspects of the industry's role in the global energy transition including powering mines with renewable energy sources, decarbonisation strategies, mine electrification and how to develop a critical minerals supply chain.
The ESG Collaboration Stream returns once again in 2023, providing a forum to address the key challenges in ensuring sustainable mining practices. As investors emphasise value, beyond the financials, and focus more on ESG compliance, this stream will feature in-depth case studies and discussions on topics including supply chain sustainability, energy, waste and water supply, community engagement, human rights, and more.
